Remember that feeling you got when you 1st saw him/her in the hallway? Anxious, nervous, excited, and unsure if you could walk pass them. Then the day came they finally approached you and you felt your heart in your throat and your stomach drop to your behind. The whole time thinking, "Oh my goodness they're finally talking to me! Don't be an idiot, be cool, breathe, look how beautiful/handsome they are, oooooo goodness hope I don't have a dumb look on my face!" Finally you are one and things couldn't be better. Life is just that much easier when they are around. Cliche, it's like your feet aren't touching the ground......
So why does that feeling have to fade once we grow up past puppy love? This feeling should mature into an unbelievable love. Something so strong that you can't help but smile and at times cry tears of joy of how blessed you both are. We've lost that love of love. Everyone just seems to want to rush into the relationship without building the foundations and eventually end up wondering why the love spark never continued pass the physical. "Where have you been all my life?" should be a resounding quote throughout the relationship even past the "6 month" mark when the love is right and true.
